Information in English
The name of the project is a Norwegian pun and does not really work in English. Kultur looks very similar to the English word culture. However, when the word is split into two, Kul and tur, it would translate to something like ‘funny walk’. Really it should be Kul or cool in English. Here in Norway tur means tour and often it’s done out in the wildness, the forest, the mountains or at the seaside. Norwegians are walking around for no other reason than walking. Culture on the other hand is something that Norwegians are skeptical about. Walking into a gallery is not a particularly popular past-time for a Norwegian, but taking a hike out in the forest just to eat chocolate and drink coffee is natural behavior.

i 2023 bygges nettstedet opp på et nytt system og det gir litt treghet fordi vi ikke har lært dette med å editere sidene/innholdet raskt nokk…. Atelier Austmarka fungerer fordi vi krever full innsats og vi gjør så godt vi kan, men krever ikke at vi kan alt – 70% er godt nokk – Vi lærer mens vi går oss vill…

Året ble sepesielt med mye arbeid – og temaet “ku-tur-ute” vil få litt ny mening. det ble bygget platting, det ble besøk med fremvingn av kortfilm laget av internasjonal preformants gruppe (vi håper vi får tilsndt noen visninger av prosjektet de jobbet med mens de var her, det ble avholdt kunstutstilling i skogen av masker, End stor preforments i Edskog kommune ved midsommer. gjestekunstere inkognito og overraskende henvendelse fra kulturrådet med befaring og fåredrag om stedet.

Kul Tur Ute 2017 og 2018
I regi av Atelier Austmarka. To år med fokus på skofinsk kulturarv i samtaler, hendelser og opplevelser.
Kul Tur Ute 2015
Skogen som galleri og visningsarena, et samarbeid med geocaching og historiske vandreruter.
2018, The Department of Municipality and Modernisation, supported the second and last activities in this project Present Skogfinsk Minoretee Culture. We also got support from the local privet firms “Bacher industri” og RA-Elektro”.
The county and municipality and some private companies supported our KU-L-TUR projects of a traveling hord of “catlle for peace.” Thanks to “nordisk hel tre”, “Gaia venneforening”.
2017, the Department of Municipality and Modernisation, supported a project on the present Skogfinsk minoretee culture.
2015, Atelier Austmarka finally received support from the county to help introduce new audiences to land art, geocaching and outdoor activities in the area.
The funding is intended for the integration and focus on ‘Friluftsliv’ (direct translation ‘fresh air life’) which is very popular in Norway. Some of these new people are not necessarily Norwegian citizens but just live or visit here. Even so, the pages with the title Kul-Tur will be written mostly in Norsk.
