My name is Rebecca Boehme and I am an artist currently living and working in Melbourne, Australia. I am employed in Melbourne as a stained glass artist and conservator, but my personal artistic practice is in colour pencil and graphite drawing. I stayed at Atelier Austmarka for 3 weeks in October 2024. During this period I developed a collection of work exploring solitude in a series of landscape and abstract drawings, inspired by the environment around me in Austmarka. My time at Austmarka marked an important pivot in my arts practice, and I look forward to continuing to work on this project and hope to exhibit these works in Melbourne in 2026..
